#76- Go see 10 Theatrical Productions

on Saturday, November 27, 2010
On our last day in of Thanksgiving vacation, Chloe and I went with my mom and sister to see a production of A Christmas Carol at the Alley Theater in downtown Houston. I enjoyed this play from the moment it started till it ended. We had great seats and the stage set was very nicely done.

The play opened with the ghosts dancing in very elaborate costumes. It was so impressive to see them move. Their costumes were amazing. They were certainly one of my favorite parts of the play.

#42- Do 10 Random Acts of Kindness

While traveling home from Thanksgiving, Chloe and I were sitting in the airport at Chicago's Midway Airport. We noticed a family, mother and two children, standing close to us not able to find a seat. Chloe leaned to me and suggested we give them our seats. I asked the woman if they would like to take our seats in the waiting area, and she graciously accept. It felt nice to help.

#37- Watch 10 New Movies

While Chloe and I were in Houston for Thanksgiving we went and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and RED.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1: It was actually very good. I have been skeptical of the Harry Potter movies ever since I saw the first one and was bored by it. But, this one was very entertaining. Chloe is pushing me to read all the books so that I can enjoy the phenom that is Harry Potter with her and the rest of the world. So I think that will be a part of my 20 books I have to read.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Shortly after we arrived at Target on Black-Friday, we came across a bin of movies. Chloe found the 6th Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and we decided that if I watched this one I would understand more from the 7th movie. She was right, big surprise, and this was actually good too. Pieces were put together for me and I will just continue on my journey through Harry Potter World.
R.E.D.: On Wednesday last week we went and saw RED. It was really funny. Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, and John Malkovich were awesome. I really like Malkovich and his pig, haha. I won't give anything away, but I highly recommend this movie. Chloe and I were laughing the whole time.

#1- Donate Blood

on Monday, November 22, 2010
So last week I gave blood at the Institute Building. I don't like needles and it was kind of weird how it was set up, so I was very nervous. I sat down at the desk and the women proceeded to tell me how healthy I was, no kidding. I was lucky and got a black lady to hook me up, and six minutes later I had a full bag. Just saved three people's lives, I hope. Well I better have, that was a big needle.

Chloe didn't have such a smooth time... the lady missed. Sorry babe.
